Come experience the beauty of God’s creation in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, connect with a positive community, and participate in new adventures. Luther Heights offers many retreat opportunities for campers of all ages to grow in faith, reconnect, and rejuvenate.


All retreats are $115/person and available for those 18 years and older unless otherwise specified.

Rent a Cabin at Luther Heights for your own getaway weekend in the mountains. This unprogrammed retreat allows you to spend your time however you’d like, and LHBC provides all your lodging and meals, including a pack-out lunch for your adventures. For all ages, reserver must be 18+.

$75/Cabin, plus $60 per Camper Primary reservation will be for Getaway Weekend: Cabin + Camper, all other Campers staying will register as Getaway Weekend: Camper


Ages 10 and up; All Skills Levels Welcome

Come explore some of Idaho’s best waters in the heart of the Sawtooth Mountains. Whether you’re an experienced angler or an adventurous novice, this is the perfect opportunity to test your skills and fish with friends. The weekend will include casting lessons, a fly-tying workshop, and time on the water. Relax after a full day of fishing with evening worship around the campfire. Luther Heights can supply all the equipment needed, however please email to reserve. A fishing license – one-day or season – is required.



Join in a weekend filled with connections... to God, friends, and self. Hosted by one of our owner congregations, activities include a guest speaker, bible studies and time to relax. Enjoy connecting with other women as you refresh during a weekend away.

Hike + Pray Women’s Retreat

Take the weekend to explore the Sawtooth Mountains with other women, connecting over hiking, yoga, and wine. We'll have options for guided short and longer distance hikes, and morning yoga sessions. Bring your girlfriends!

Name Your Adventure

For the adventurer who wants to do it all or just pick your favorites! Options for guided fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking await. Don't worry, we have chairs on the back deck to relax in after. Horseback riding and rafting are an additional cost. For all ages.

Grief + Reflection Retreat

No matter where you're at on your grief journey, this weekend retreat will provide time and space to process personal grief (whether from loss of a loved one or divorce or life transitions) in the community of others and space to process individually. With guided meditation, Pastor Barb Condon and Tami McLaughlin as facilitators, we hope you find comfort and helpful insights.

Mindfulness in the Mountains

Slowly sip hot coffee while you watch the sun peek onto the meadow, deer munching on dewy grass, the fire crackling behind you in the lodge. If this sounds like the perfect mountain morning, this retreat is for you! Join us and NNU Graduate Counseling Students to provide intentional reflection time and mindfulness strategies to use daily back in your normal rhythms of life.

Join us for time away from the busyness of life with a chance to slow down with fellowship, home-cooked meals, and time to dig into scripture with other men. Lead by Pastor Wayne Shipman of Good Shepherd, Pocatello.

Help Luther Heights check some service projects off the list before we have snow in the meadow. This weekend will require hard work, but we promise play time in the afternoons! For all ages. *Service weekends are free for volunteers.

We welcome all faith leaders for a retreat you don't have to plan! Come relax by the lodge fire, renew over devotionals or time on your own, and connect with others.

We invite you to a Blue Jean Gatherings! In true camp fashion, join us for a casual celebration in blue jeans and a favorite camp t-shirt or flannel and a pair of sneakers or Chacos! Help us to both celebrate 70 years of ministry and dream forward to where God is leading this ministry in the next 70 years. Join us for worship, dessert and fellowship time, new canteen items and a raffle. Please RSVP at least a week before the event and let us know if you're willing to bring a dessert to share!

Service Weekends

All Ages and Skill Levels Welcome

Please register online for these weekends for proper accommodations and to sign waiver.

Service Weekends are free for volunteers to experience camp and put their faith into servant action. Help us open up or close down the cabins and ensure program space is properly taken care of. Daily devotion time as a community is programmed around service opportunities.

Retreat Info

  • Retreats must be paid in full to secure your spot at least two weeks before the start of the program. All retreats are $115/person. Our cancellation policy is a credit to your account to be used within one program year for a different camp or retreat and is transferable.
  • Retreats typically begin Friday evenings with arrival between 4 - 6 p.m. If you'll be later than 6 p.m., please let us know by emailing .
  • Lodging is in our wood cabins on twin-sized (bottom) bunk beds. The cabins are heated.
  • The cabins have private bathrooms with a shower. Please bring your own towels, toiletries, and bedding.
  • All meals are included: Friday dinner, three meals Saturday, and Sunday breakfast and an optional pack-out lunch.
  • If you have dietary restrictions please note on your health form when registering and/or reach out to at least two weeks before.
  • If you bring your own snacks or drinks, please ensure they are properly secured from wildlife.
  • Quiet hours are 10 p.m. - 7 a.m. Please be respectful of the community.
  • Service Weekend volunteers must register and sign all forms online, including background check.
